The purpose of the operation is clearing root canals from inflamed tissues and infections, and their shaping for subsequent high-quality filling.
The procedure is done with esthetic purposes on non-vital teeth which lost their natural colour due to an injury, inflammatory process or iatrogenic reasons (colouring with filling material in the tooth canal).
The procedure is necessary for treatment and saving teeth whose root canals have been filled before. The procedure is labor intensive, is done only under microscopy, by instrumental and equipment methods using special chemical solvents.
